'We Have Never Been Strangers', 2024 ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ My MFA exhibition, 'We Have Never Been Strangers', investigates the unsettling ecologies that have emerged from the colonial desire for domination over ‘nature’ and the capitalist pursuit of beauty. Seven bodily sculptures are featured, collectively forming an uncanny, mechanized ecosystem. These works reflect our multifaceted concept of body as it relates to technology and species.
